Shopping online can be frustrating. You can never be sure if you're ordering the right size, if it's a quality product, or if you can truly trust the brand you're buying from. When you're trying to purchase from an online candle store, the biggest drawback is that you can't actually smell the product first to see if you like it before you buy it. Here are some tips to help you make sure you make the right choice.

1. Consider the scent notes in the product description. Since you can't actually smell the candle in real life, the candle shop owner will likely include the scent notes in the candle's product description. Think about your favorite candles and see if their scent notes match up to the one you're considering. If those sound like scents you like, it's probably safe to purchase it.

2. Read reviews from other people that have purchased the scent you're looking at. They may have additional scent notes or say that it smells nothing like what's described. By reading these and comparing them to your own preferences, this will help you determine if it's the right candle for you.

3. Candle size should complement room dimensions for best scent disbursement.  Our small candle (classic collection) or tins will work better for smaller rooms, such as a bath or kitchen area, while medium candles are appropriate for bedrooms.

Please note that office buildings with a lot of traffic, high ceilings and wide public spaces have their own factors for scent distribution from candles.  Two or more large candles should work best in those areas.
